MARGERY MUELLER, ARTISTS TALK: "A CURIOUS HERBAL"
Elizabeth Blackwell (1735) is noted for being one of the first botanical artists to personally draw, etch, engrave and hand colour her own designs. Mueller will talk about Blackwell, her work and the parallels between Blackwell's botanicals and her own.

TRACY PENN: “UBIQUITOUS, Microplastics in our Bodies"
"Microplastics are everywhere: in the air we breathe, in the food we eat, in the clothes we wear, in our homes, and in our bodies... The installation will communicate how the plastic that we discard in our environment eventually end up inside our bodies...The goal of “Ubiquitous” is to inspire the viewer to be part of the solution to reduce the creation and consumption of single use plastic and the microplastics which are created when they break down."
