When I draw, I seek to revive a scene. It can be a cityscape, or a hoard of ancient creatures. They all follow a world of dreams, the one in which we live. I like to invent new languages, draw castles, and whatever comes out of my head. I copy signs that are found on trees. The natural language of rhyzomes. It's all part of a spell. Drawing is a way of experimenting. Determining what looks good on paper often is a way of solving problems. It is also a transcendent way of expressing deep emotion. Etching enables me to share intimate drawings with others.
